Dymocks in Melbourne City have arranged for me to give a little talk in the cafe during my book signing there tomorrow evening.

I'll be at the store, signing and talking from 6pm.  It's at 234 Collins St, in the centre of the city.

If you're coming along, please email the store at levents@dymocks.com.au and let them know, they'd like an idea of numbers!

I will be at Worldcon (the world science fiction convention) next weekend, from September 3-6.  If you see me, say hello!

I'll be at Dymocks in Melbourne 6pm on Friday 3rd September.  It's the one in the centre of the city, at 234 Collins St, between Elizabeth and Swanston Sts.  Bring as many copies as you'd like for me to sign, I don't place any limit on signing numbers. 

That's only a week away, and probably the only chance you'll get to have your books signed in Melbourne before the next one comes out!

Now, about these hardcovers...

Voyager are printing five limited edition hardcover versions of the first novels by their greatest authors - George R R Martin, Robin Hobb, Raymond Feist, Sara Douglass... and me.  I'm profoundly honoured to be in such distinguished company.

They're only printing a thousand of these.

They're gorgeous.  They have a purple cover and a purple ribbon book mark.

 

The recommended retail price is $29.99 (that's ridiculously cheap for what you're getting) and they're only available at Dymocks through a special joint promotion between Harper and Dymocks.

The ISBN is 9780732292126.  If you want one, run into your nearest Dymocks and order it.

I have 25 of them to sell as a special limited edition - although 15 are gone already so I only have 10 left.  I've signed them in gold, put both my English and Chinese chops on the title page, and numbered each one individually.

I'm selling them for $100 each, with $10 postage.   If you'd like one, you'll need to email me quickly on kylie@kyliechan.com, because I'm expecting them to disappear in a hurry.  I have to admit I wasn't expecting this level of excitement about them.

So: there's only going to be 25 of these numbered and signed out of a limited edition print run of 1000 that are never going to be reprinted in this format (with the silver Voyager logo).  If you want one, I suggest you move quickly!

The finale of the Logan North Library Sci-Fi month, this day is spectacular fun for everybody who attends. 

I'll be signing there from 10am till 11am, then I'll be giving a seminar together with a number of extremely talented authors in the genre at 11am.  Again check the Logan North Library link for more information.

I'll be at AussieCon4 - the world science fiction convention - which is being held in Melbourne from the 2 to the 6 of September this year.  I'll be wandering around looking like a child in a candy shop, so if you see me say hello!

I'd love to do the southern states again, guys, but I'm afraid I can't do it this time.  Hopefully I'll be able to head down when book six, 'Heaven to Wudang', comes out.

I will be doing some signings around SE Queensland, though, and here's the dates!
