Back to Work - Writing!
[Posted 15-Jul-2008]It's all done, the con is finished, I survived the radio show on 4BC - now back to work. Hand me my pen, I have a book - and a blog - to write!
Gen Con and 4BC
[Posted 02-Jul-2008]I'll be at GenCon every day from Thursday 3rd to Sunday the 6th. Most days I'll be there from 10 am to at least 3pm - check the seminar info for details if you are going to be there. I'll be available for signing for at least an hour each day, and if you run into me feel free to ask for anything you like that involves signing stuff!
I'm appearing on the Paranormal Radio Show on 4BC Brisbane next Tuesday the 8th at 9pm. My first really 'live' radio broadcast - and I'm as nervous as anything!
After that? I'm going to the Gold Coast by myself for a few days to chill - and hopefully write up a storm. My poor husband and daughter will be left to fend for themselves!

[Posted 17-Jun-2008]I'll probably be on a few writing-type panels at GenCon; I'm thoroughly freaked out of course, I'm not one to stand up and lecture about anything except probably Data Warehousing and Microsoft Office products (I used to do a lot of IT training back in the bad old days!)
I told my family I would be on the panels about writing and bemoaned the fact that I'm being set up as an expert when I know nothing about writing.
My husband: 'You've written three best-selling novels and you say you know nothing about writing?'
Me: 'Yup. I know about storytelling, but my writing is crap.'
Him: 'Humph.'
GenCon will be fun anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting some famous authors and people who have read my books. Signing books for people is always a tremendous thrill, too. Can't wait!

[Posted 14-May-2008]I've been quiet lately because I've been so busy; work, tax and writing have filled my time. But the guys from Gen Con Oz have contacted me and it looks like I'll be a guest at the con.
The con is held from 3rd to 6th of July at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Everybody wants to know - publisher, agents, fans - even neighbours!
I take temporary assignments now to top up the bank account, but rest assured I am working hard on book four. It's taking shape and the story is certainly one that I'm sure everybody will find exciting. Now to shut my office door for the next week (I'm not doing any temping this week) and get stuck into it...
